Welcome to Samuel Brenner's Web Site

Samuel Lawrence Brenner
Samuel Lawrence Brenner, a native of
Lexington, Massachusetts, received his J.D. from The
University of Michigan Law School and his Ph.D. in History from Brown
University. His
dissertation is on the development of "Americanist" organizations such as
the John Birch Society and the Christian Anti-Communism Crusade in the 1950s,
1960s, and 1970s. His
legal scholarship is focused on Constitutional law, the history of race and
civil rights in American law, the history of American war crimes inquiries, and United States legal history generally.
From 2009-2010 he clerked for the
Hon. David W. McKeague of the
United States Court of
Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in Lansing, Michigan; from 2010-2011 he is clerking for
the United States Court of Appeals in Pasadena,
California. You can contact him by emailing
"sbrenner" @umich.edu, or by calling (401) 339-1546.
N.B. There are several other Samuel Brenners, but I am
not them. I am in particular neither this
Samuel
Brenner (former president of the World Federalist Association of
Greater Miami and former poet laureate of Surfside, FL). nor this
Sam Brenner (an offensive lineman signed with Utah) (though I'm
certain that I could take him on the line of scrimmage), nor the
Samuel Brenner listed here. I am also not associated with
Sam
Brenner Inc., which appears to be a firm of real estate brokers in
Florida. Those seeking the assistance of Sam J. Brenner, the New
Media designer, or Sam Brenner, the (rather good) musician who hosts the
site "where music and madness meet," would be better off looking
here or
here. If you have comments and complaints, feel free to contact these other Samuel Brenners
(or should it be "Samuels Brenner"?) directly.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact
the Webmaster. All original
material on this site is copyright 2000-2010.
